Strengthening our presence in Norway

Per Fridén joins Begner

Expanding in Norway

We continue to grow and are pleased to welcome Per Fridén to the team. Per has joined us as Sales Representative for iba Nordic in Norway, where he will work closely with our customers and partners in the Norwegian market.

This recruitment is part of our effort to strengthen customer relationships and expand our presence in Norway. With a local representative, we can respond more quickly and be more accessible to our customers.

Per has a background as a graphic engineer and has worked in the graphic industry for more than 30 years in both Sweden and Norway. Throughout his career, he has held roles in production, education and technical customer support, most recently in a Nordic team at Xerox.

We asked Per a few quick questions after his first days:

Hi Per, how have your first days at Begner been so far?
I have received a very warm welcome and met many friendly colleagues. It has been exciting to hear about their backgrounds and what they work with. There is a lot to learn, but it is also very interesting to get to know all the products and solutions we offer.

Can you tell us a little about your background?
I grew up in Hosjö outside Falun and studied graphic engineering in Borlänge. After a few years working in production at a printing house, I moved to Gjøvik in Norway to teach at the graphic engineering programme. Later, I moved to Oslo for a position at Xerox, where I worked in a Nordic team handling everything from demonstrations to installations and customer support. I have been in the industry for more than 30 years, and it has been a very varied and exciting time with rapid technological development.

What made you interested in joining Begner?
The challenge of moving into a completely new industry. The opportunity to work with Begner’s existing customer base in Norway, develop it further and reach new customers. I also see some similarities with the industrial side of the printing industry, and I believe I can bring useful experience into this new role.

What motivates you in your work?
I enjoy finding solutions that make the work easier for others. I like exploring new and better ways of working, and continuous learning is important to me.

What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
Cycling on small forest trails is my favourite way to relax. I also play floorball. I used to play hockey, but floorball is a bit easier these days. I also enjoy going to concerts with friends and family.

We are excited to welcome Per to Begner!
