The need for fast, accurate determination of skin temperature screening has led to the development of a high accuracy blackbody source for 38 °C (100.4 °F) calibration of infrared thermometers/pyrometers and thermal imagers. 

The blackbody heat source provides a trusted reference temperature value calibrated at 38 °C / 100.4 °F for infrared temperature measurement instruments and has a large plate for viewing at longer distances.   The blackbody reference temperature is an essential requirement for accurate temperature values.

This source is simple and easy to set up and operate and can assist in the calibration of infrared thermometers/pyrometers and thermal imagers used to monitor and detect elevated skin surface temperature.
